From the Event Organizer:
Treat all the family with this “build an igloo” experience from Rovaniemi. You’ll collect, shovel, and pack snow together, then learn how to make doors and even beds as your guide talks about the Inuit’s early igloo creations. Use of winter weather clothing is included to keep you warm, and you’ll also enjoy a barbecue lunch by an open fire and tepee.
Enjoy a snow adventure in the Lapland countryside and build your own igloo.
Pick up igloo building techniques and learn how to use snow as an insulator.
Hear tales of the Inuit who used igloos as hunting shelters for centuries.
Stop to warm up by a roaring open fire and tepee as you eat a barbecue lunch.
