Georgia on My Mind: Georgia O’keeffe and Ghost Ranch Country Tour

Explore the ancient landscape that Georgia O’Keeffe immortalized in her paintings. In addition to visiting Ghost Ranch, painting sites, and the O’Keeffe Museum (which requires a separate ticket), we’ll drive through the vast Piedra Lumbre Basin, known for rich paleontological beds and dramatic sandstone cliffs. Here in this land of rivers, cliffs, and buttes, O’Keeffe focused on her art. In exploring this beating heart of Northern New Mexico, we can further understand her art, spirit, and lasting love for this distinctive landscape.
Visit several locations that were integral to the history, legacy, and artwork of Georgia O’Keeffe.
Witness the ancient scenery that inspired the artist.
Drive through the stunning Piedra Lumbre Basin (or Valley of the Shining Stone).
Options to tour the O’Keeffe Museum and O’Keeffe’s home in Abiquiu (separate tickets required).
