DC Emancipation Day 2019

The annual celebration in DC of the Emancipation Day happened on April 16th, 1862, with a parade, festival, concert, and fireworks. The Sakura Matsuri – Japanese Street Festival

The Sakura Matsuri is the largest one-day celebration of Japanese culture in the US, an opportunity to learn about Japanese tradition and culture. Ursula von Rydingsvard: The Contour of Feeling
