From the Event Organizer:
Make a unique souvenir to remind you of Kansas City with this small-group jewelry lesson. The experience is a sustainable option as it focuses on using locally-sourced materials, such as wood, leather, and linen. Choose to make a bracelet, earrings, or a card wallet; and learn about the city’s garment industry history from your teacher. As a special treat, craft beer, wine, or cider tastings are included from artisan producers.
Learn to make your own jewelry at a Kansas City fashion studio.
Take part in a “farm-to-table” class that uses locally-sourced material.
No need to bring anything with you: Tools and equipment are provided.
Toast the activity with a chance to sample drinks made by artisan producers.
