Mexico City, Mexico
Explore Mexico city following the legacy of one of its legendary and famous women, Frida Kahlo.
Kahlo (1907-1954) was a Mexican painter who expressed her Mexican culture and personal story in her many self-portraits, portraits, and art. Even tens of years after she passed away, she is still one of the most famous female artists, with her paintings on display in the top art museums in the world.
This guided tour will start in Kahlo’s house, Casa Azul (the blue house), which became a museum after she passed away. On display are hers and her husbands, the painter Diego Rivera personal belongings, photographs, and paintings.
Then you will continue with your guide, in private transportation, to the Central Library of the National Autonomous University of Mexico to see the Mural art by Rivera.
The last visit will be a boat ride at Xochimilco canals, the last remnant of México City’s original geography. Read more...
