This self-guided tour will walk you through the places where history once happened in downtown Binghamton when the women of Broome and Tioga Counties gathered and campaigned for their right to vote.
This trail was created in 2017, celebrating the anniversary for the achievement and honoring the women who contributed to it from the state of New York.
Among the stops you will visit are the church where the 1913 New York State Woman Suffrage Association Convention happened, landmarks of the suffragists’ headquarters, and meeting places.
