Derry Girls Original Sites Tour

This fun, guided, and informative tour is not only for the Derry Girls groupies!

Derry Girls is a successful TV sitcom created by Lisa McGee that follows the life of four teenage girls and a boy in Derry, Northern Ireland, during the last years of the Northern Ireland conflict. McGee wrote many of the scenes based on her own experiences, and most of the filming took place in Derry.

This guided tour will explore the streets of Derry, visiting many of the locations that took place on the show, which will make you feel as if you are on the show’s set and part of it. You hear stories about the city, the TV show, and behind-the-scenes information. Expect to visit the mural of the main characters on the side of Badgers Bar and Restaurant, Bishops Street Gate, and many more.
