    Many historical events occurred on the streets of Cambridge, and many women were the driving force behind them.

    Walk through Mid-Cambridge, visit significant sites including the Cambridge Public Library and the Cantabrigia Women’s Club and get to know some powerful and inspirational women, such as Harriet A. Jacobs who escaped slavery, Elizabeth Cabot Agassiz who was the first President of Radcliffe College and the poet Charlotte Fiske Bates.
