Visiting Tanzania is about experiencing nature, culture, and people. This guided tour will introduce you in person to the inspiring, creative local women of Dar es Salaam Tanzania. You will hear their stories, struggles, entrepreneur journeys, and the life of a woman in Tanzania.
Among the women you will meet are- the artists of Tinga Tinga Art Market, the highly skilled disabled sculptors of Wonder Workshop, who create sculptures from recycled materials, a local fashion designer, Kemi Kalikawe. There will also be a traditional dance performance at the Makumbusho Village Museum.
Hotel pick-up is included, as well as lunch. In some of the places, you will get a chance to purchase local African art crafts.
