This guided tour will stroll around the Auraria campus and downtown Denver visiting landmarks related to women’s influence in Denver.
You will hear the stories about the women who shaped Denver as well as women who lived in the city and later became famous – politicians, artists, businesswomen, ladies of society, ladies of the evening, and more. In addition to the women’s stories, you will learn how Denver developed to become the city it is today and how it was like for women to live there, back in the old days.
